Head of the Department of Microprocessor Technologies and Systems Svyd IV took part in the event – the General Meeting of APPAU. The general meeting, which is the highest governing body of the APPAU association, took place this time online on January 26. Only the Chairman of the Board of APPAU O. Shcherbatenko and the General Director of the Association O. Yurchak were in the IT-Enterprise office. This report presents the main results of the discussions and plans for 2021.

As the European Commission develops its plans and priorities for the next decade, research and innovation (R&D) are consistently highlighted as critical to overcoming the COVID-19 pandemic, as well as its long-term green, digital transformation and global competitiveness. However, the first signs suggest that this rhetoric may be limited by political and economic realities.

The spring semester of the 2020-21st academic year began on February 15. Training will be in a mixed form for first-year students of all specialties and educational programs according to the order of the first rector. And training for other courses of the university will mainly be organized by distance learning with the possibility of conducting certain types of classes in person.
