On March 30, 21, Iryna Svyd, Head of the MTS Department, took part in the seminar of the National Expert Erasmus + (HERE team) “Internationalization of Higher Education: Combining Global and Local”.
Speaker of the event with many years of experience in practical and research work in the field of internationalization of higher education – Iryna Sikorska, Head of International Relations, Donetsk State University of Management, National Expert on Higher Education Reform Erasmus + (HERE team), Chairman of the Ukrainian Association of Teachers and researchers of European integration.

RTL validation remains a major issue in FPGA and ASIC design projects. This session demonstrated how engineers from different industries can work together in MATLAB / Simulink to increase efficiency and reduce verification time.

On March 24, 2021, teachers and staff of the department took part in the webinar “How to prepare a successful proposal in Horizon Europe”, which was held with the support of the European Commission.
Horizon Europe supports research and innovation through work programs that identify funding opportunities for research and innovation.
The webinar participants learned about the peculiarities of Horizon Europe and the differences between Horizon Europe and Horizon 2020. An explanation was given of the peculiarities of applying from higher education institutions and other government agencies starting in 2022. The peculiarities of signing a grant agreement for associated countries were also considered. preparation of the application focuses on open science, gender mainstreaming and project-oriented results.

On March 23, within the framework of the EU Industrial Days and the ClusteRISE project in Kharkiv, the best innovations of the region were presented in Industry 4.0. Participants, including employees of the MTS Department, considered the following areas: innovation policy in the industry, presentations of the best innovators in Industry 4.0, prospects for rapprochement with the EU in this area.

We invite you to the conference on March 23 in the framework of the EU Industrial Days and the ClusteRISE project Kharkiv presents the best innovations of the region in Industry 4.0. Participants will consider 3 main topics – the state of innovation policies in industry, presentations of the best innovators in Industry 4.0 and prospects for rapprochement with the EU in this area. The Kharkiv region will be the first in Ukraine to present the Industry 4.0 landscape as a tool for innovation, export and internationalization.

On March 18, an employee of the MTS Department took part in EU Industry Week 2021. Ukraine not only shares the key values ​​and principles of the double transition of European industry, but also pledges to promote such ambitious goals at both government and business levels. The recent adoption of the National Economic Strategy defines the “green economy” as the main and dominant pattern of the state. Industrial decarbonisation, intelligent mobility and hydrogen renewable energy were the main focus of the web conference. The final part discusses the strategic infrastructure projects of Ukraine, which have a unique potential for Europe to deepen and expand its logistics and transport capabilities based on innovative technologies and engineering solutions.

In pursuance of the decision of the regional commission on technogenic and environmental safety and emergencies of the Kharkiv region, dated March 17, 2021, protocol No. 7, due to the deterioration of the epidemiological situation associated with the spread of COVID-19, from March 18, Kharkiv National University of Radio Electronics switches to remote form learning.

March 11, 2021 at Kharkiv National University named after Karazin presented in an online format the results of an analytical study of the state of development of the internal quality assurance system of education in Ukrainian universities (commissioned by the OSCE). The event was attended by the head of the MTS department Irina Svyd.
The presented study covered 183 institutions of higher education (81% – state, 12 – private and 7% communal). The collected data were presented in comparison with a similar study in 2017.
