On March 24, 2021, teachers and staff of the department took part in the webinar “How to prepare a successful proposal in Horizon Europe”, which was held with the support of the European Commission.
Horizon Europe supports research and innovation through work programs that identify funding opportunities for research and innovation.
The webinar participants learned about the peculiarities of Horizon Europe and the differences between Horizon Europe and Horizon 2020. An explanation was given of the peculiarities of applying from higher education institutions and other government agencies starting in 2022. The peculiarities of signing a grant agreement for associated countries were also considered. preparation of the application focuses on open science, gender mainstreaming and project-oriented results.

On March 18, an employee of the MTS Department took part in EU Industry Week 2021. Ukraine not only shares the key values ​​and principles of the double transition of European industry, but also pledges to promote such ambitious goals at both government and business levels. The recent adoption of the National Economic Strategy defines the “green economy” as the main and dominant pattern of the state. Industrial decarbonisation, intelligent mobility and hydrogen renewable energy were the main focus of the web conference. The final part discusses the strategic infrastructure projects of Ukraine, which have a unique potential for Europe to deepen and expand its logistics and transport capabilities based on innovative technologies and engineering solutions.

Participation in the webinar “Results of the analytical study of the state of development of the internal quality assurance system of education in Ukrainian universities (commissioned by the OSCE)”

March 11, 2021 at Kharkiv National University named after Karazin presented in an online format the results of an analytical study of the state of development of the internal quality assurance system of education in Ukrainian universities (commissioned by the OSCE). The event was attended by the head of the MTS department Irina Svyd.
The presented study covered 183 institutions of higher education (81% – state, 12 – private and 7% communal). The collected data were presented in comparison with a similar study in 2017.
Speaker: Taras Finikov, President of the International Foundation for Educational Research, Professor at the University of Warsaw, Deputy Minister of Education and Science of Ukraine (2009–2010).
