On December 23, 2020, during a remote meeting of the Academic Council of KNURE, Rector Valery Semenets presented awards for outstanding achievements and conscientious and long-term work to the university staff. I. Svyd, Head of the MTS Department, was awarded the Gratitude of the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine.

Representatives of the department on December 17, 2020 took part in a virtual presentation of the Erasmus + Jean Monnet project “Integration of EU framework and policies on cybersecurity in Ukraine (CyFra)”.
The event began with a welcome speech by the representative of the National Erasmus + Office in Ukraine Petro Krainik, who congratulated the team “CyFra”. Dean of the Faculty of Infocommunications of Kharkiv National University of Radio Electronics Arkady Snigurov spoke with words of congratulations to the executors of the project and noted the relevance of this area.
Then the CyFra team consisting of the coordinator, Maryna Yevdokymenko, and performers Yevhen Kuzminykh, Oleksandra Yeremenko, Oleksandr Adamov presented the goal, expected results and structure of the project.

On December 17, 2020, the Ukrainian Institute of International Politics, with the partnership support of the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine and Hanns Seidel Stiftung Ukraine, in collaboration with experts, held online discussions on How to Make Universities Successful: Management and Strategies of International Cooperation.

Employees of the MTS Department increased their competencies in conducting distance learning at the all-Ukrainian online forum “Teachers 4.0: effective approaches to distance education” held on December 16, 2020, conducted by CSR Ukraine, an expert organization Center for CSR Development with the support of Servier Ukraine.

Pursuant to the Resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine dated December 9, 2020 No. 1236 “On the establishment of quarantine and the introduction of restrictive anti-epidemic measures in order to prevent the spread in Ukraine of the acute respiratory disease COVID-19 caused by the SARS-CoV-2 coronavirus”
quarantine at the Kharkiv National University of Radio Electronics has been extended until February 28, 2021.
In connection with the strengthening of quarantine from 08 to 24 January 2021, the educational process will take place exclusively in a distance form.

Iryna Svyd, Head of the MTS KNURE Department, took part in the international week “Internationalization at home to build the potential of polytechnic education in Ukraine” on November 18-20, 2020 at the National University “Zaporizhzhya Polytechnic” with the support of the international educational project “Innovative Multidisciplinary Curriculum in Artificial Immune BSc / MSc Degrees ”(BIOART, registration number 586114-EPP-1-2017-1-ES-EPPKA2-CBHE-JP) of the European Union Erasmus + program.

Anna Zavolodko, PhD student of the Department of Microprocessor Technologies and Systems #MTS #KHNURE, took part in the international online seminar “Building trust and engaging in peer review”, organized by the Academy of Researchers. The review process depends on the success of editors, reviewers and authors. At the seminar, a group of Cell Press editors discussed how they work with their journal communities to build trust in the review process.
In this lively online discussion, she learned more about peer review principles, how to follow peer review instructions, the benefits of transparent peer review, improved inclusion and diversity in peer review, and more to help improve the quality of her research and the scientific community.

GlobalLogic invites Embedded connoisseurs to take part in the sixth Embedded Community webinar! The theme of the event is “Prospects for small rocket construction in Ukraine”.

Stanislav Barantsev (founder of AMW Labs) will tell why missiles are needed in Ukraine, who does it and does it have a future? He will also talk about what Kiev AMW Labs is doing and how rocket engines are created in the kitchen, and will show what is inside the missiles.

On December 6, an open day was held on the basis of KNURE. During the event, Rector Valery Semenets addressed future students. Applicants were acquainted with the faculties and educational programs of the university and they had the opportunity to ask questions to representatives of the admissions committee of the University of Radio Electronics.
