The head of the MTS department took part in the event – the General Meeting of APPAU
Head of the Department of Microprocessor Technologies and Systems Svyd IV took part in the event – the General Meeting of APPAU. The general meeting, which is the highest governing body of the APPAU association, took place this time online on January 26. Only the Chairman of the Board of APPAU O. Shcherbatenko and the General Director of the Association O. Yurchak were in the IT-Enterprise office. This report presents the main results of the discussions and plans for 2021.
The meeting mentioned the update in APPAU in 2020:
- Industry4Ukraine platform, which APPAU supports both at the level of participation in org. committee, and in all joint (with other industry associations) conducted a better structuring of its activities and management structure. Detailed mission, value proposition, management structure – see details. on the main page https://www.industry4ukraine.net/. This platform, its portfolio of projects and cooperation is our main ally in the promotion of Industry 4.0 at the level of other industry associations, regions and government.
- At the same time, the strategic session on December 18 decided to establish its own function GR (relations with the government). This means that the new APPAU committee will coordinate much more closely and actually strengthen the organization. Industry4Ukraine committee in work with state institutions. The reason is the unsatisfactory state of promotion of strategic developments at the level of state strategies, regulations and bills.
- In January 2021, we also updated our value proposition website, which is in sync with the association’s brand booklet, released in 2020. Together, they structure the organization’s mission, our 2023 goals, collaborative values, and core value proposition for association members.
- The action plan proposed for APPAU members in 2020 is more synthetic but clear – in fact, all our actions and initiatives are grouped by areas of strategic development, which in turn are divided into development and cooperation projects. As there are many of these projects (10 projects are mentioned in the review at the meeting), each of the APPAU members can choose at least 1 and thus join the cooperation. The Action Plan for 2021 retains the same format – more on this in more detail.
- At the meeting, we did not mention another development project – a project with UNDP (UNDP), which involves strengthening our institutional capacity. His actions are aimed mainly at our executive directorate – from October 2020 there are many online events, such as workshops and trainings. Meanwhile, our members could also already partially experience the impact of this project – the end-of-year events, such as the strategic session of the Board, as well as the joint strategic session of APPAU and Zaporizhzhya IAM cluster took place with the support of UNDP. The plans for 2021 of this project are very ambitious, and each of our members will feel it to some extent in our communications and service offerings.
