On January 20, 2020, at a meeting of the MTS department, the president of the International Association of Alumni of the University of Radio Electronics Kirill Khrustalev presented certificates to new members of the organization.

From April 22 to April 24, 2020, in the city of Kharkov, at the Art and Mechanical Plant (Plekhanovskaya St., 126, st. M. “Malyshevsky Plant”), a specialized exhibition “Kharkov Prom Days. Production and efficiency.” Within the framework of the exhibition, with the support of the Kharkov National University of Radio Electronics, on April 22, 2020 the II forum “Automation, Electronics and Robotics. Development Strategies and Innovative Technologies ”to the 90th anniversary of KNURE.

Employees of the Department of MTS Head of the Department Associate Professor Svyd I., Professor Obod I. and Art. teacher Maltsev A.S. for high results in scientific work, they were included in the TOP-10 of KNURE scientists by the number of publications in Scopus NMBU for 2019. Congratulations to them! We wish you inspiration and success in your work.

On November 18, 2019 the information meeting of the rector of KNURE Semenets V. for IRTIS, IC, ELBE, ACT students with the support of MTS Department. Semenets V drew the participants’ attention to the rapid development of the industry of embedded systems and technologies of Industry 4.0, as well as the lack of specialists in Ukraine, and emphasized the importance of studying the course “Designing Devices on Microcontrollers and FPGAs” as a Necessary component for becoming a specialist in embedded systems.

The meeting was also attended by representatives of leading companies interested in developing embedded systems such as GlobalLogic, OJSC Energooblik, RF Engeneering & Consulting. Employees of the companies spoke about the directions of their activity and the requirements for knowledge and skills that students need to gain for successful employment in the future. Students are invited for internships, internships and field trips.

November 16 – Radio, Television and Communications Workers’ Day in Ukraine.
The holiday was established “… in support of the initiative of the workers of radio, television and communication of Ukraine …” according to the Decree of the President of Ukraine “On the Day of workers of radio, television and communication” of November 11, 1994 on that day in 1924 the first broadcast of Ukrainian radio appeared in Kharkiv.

On November 16, the meeting with the Deputy Minister of Education and Science of Ukraine Yegor Stadny took place, with the participation of a representative of the MTS Department, the Rector and KNURE teachers, as well as the heads of other higher educational institutions of Kharkiv, at the Synergy Science Park of Kharkiv National University of Radio Electronics.

The meeting discussed the improvement of the existing education system, the introduction of new initiatives, as well as the presentation of their own vision of teachers and scholars on changes in the educational process.

On November 5-7, 2019, the MTS Department, as part of the delegation from KNURE, took part in the IV International Forum “Innovation Market”, which was held in Kiev. As part of the event, the department staff presented the scientific and practical development of students, teachers and educational programs of the faculty of IRTIS.

October 25 Head of the MTS Department Svyd I. took part in the training for members of industry expert councils of the National Agency for the Quality Assurance of Higher Education, which was conducted by Ellana Molchanova, head of the support department, the work of the general expert council and the accreditation of independent institutions at the secretariat of the national agency for the quality assurance of higher education.

On October 25, Rector Valery Semenets presented awards for outstanding achievements and conscientious work for many years to employees of the MTS department during a meeting of the Academic Council of Kharkov National University of Radio Electronics. The head of the MTS department, Svyd I., was awarded a diploma of the regional state administration, and the assistant professor of the MTS department, Vorgul A. was awarded an honorary of the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine.

Teachers and students of the Department of Microprocessor Technologies and Systems of KNURE took part in the webinar “Digital Competencies for Teachers and Other Citizens of Ukraine/dComFra”, organized by the Department of Information Systems of NTU “KhPI”.

Participants learned about the concept of competencies, how to master and build them. In addition, the speakers spoke about the “Digital Transformation Coalition”, whose work is aimed at coordinating and consolidating initiatives and efforts in the field of digital development and integration of Ukraine into the European digital space.

On October 16, 2019, a meeting of the selection committee # 4 on the election of industry expert councils took place. The composition of the industry expert council in the field of knowledge 17 “Electronics and telecommunications”, which includes the head of the MTS department, I.V. was appointed from KNURE, approved.
