The employee of the department of MTS took part in 15th International Conference The Experience of Designing and Application of CAD Systems (CADSM-2019).

At the Department of Microprocessor Technologies and Systems, members of the support group of the MTS Department discussed proposals for inclusion in the educational and scientific program “Telecommunications and Radio Engineering” training of higher education of the third (educational and scientific) level of higher education in specialty 172 “Telecommunications and Radio Engineering” “Methods of increasing noise immunity of airspace surveillance systems”. The general structure of the program, mandatory and optional components and proposals on the content of disciplines related to current trends in the professional field were also discussed. Proposals based on the results of the discussion were submitted to the project group ESP 172 Telecommunications and Radio Engineering.

Within the Sigma Software Embedded University Tech Talk project On December 20, 2018, a working meeting took place. The prospects of cooperation were discussed
companies and universities in the direction of the built-in system and the Internet of things.

From November 21 to 23, 2018, at the Kyiv International Exhibition Center at the III International Innovation Forum “Innovation Market” in the composition Delegations of KNURE presented developments of the department of MTS.

November 6.  A new department of Microprocessor Technologies and Systems  was opened at the Kharkiv National University of Radio Electronics. It will work at the basis of the Faculty of Information Radio Technologies and Technical Information Security.

According to the management, the opening of the Department is the beginning of systematization of teaching microprocessor disciplines. It will enhance the quality of training professional engineering personnel in accordance with European standards.

On October 3, Professor Valery Semenets, Rector of KNURE, held a meeting with students on the topic “Designing devices on microcontrollers and FPGAs” in the assembly hall of the Kharkov National University of Radio Electronics, during which he spoke about the specifics of the Direction and stressed the importance of a serious and responsible attitude to obtaining the knowledge base that currently provided by university professors.

“If you learn this technology, you are guaranteed to work. Therefore, I ask you, but do not miss this opportunity. I myself am a developer of computer equipment and understand how difficult it is, but believe me, with the right approach, the results will meet all expectations,” said the rector.

Members of the MTS department participated in the exhibition «KharkivBUILD&Energy», that took place on September 20-22, 2018 was devoted to the latest energy-efficient technologies.

Teachers of the department took part in the GlobalLogic Kharkiv University Teachers Open Day which was held on September 6, 2018, and was devoted to joint projects, training programs updates, teacher training and community development. GlobalLogic actively develops one of the strategic directions – cooperation with universities.

August 30, 2018, the lecturers of the MTS Department took part in the conference “IoT clusters development Poland – Ukraine exchanges” within the framework of industry development 4.0 in Kiev. During the conference, issues of the construction and development of Ukrainian IIOT communities, their cooperation with universities, taking into account the experience of Poland and Lithuania, were considered.
