Startup and Business Ideas Competition “Dnipro Creative Startups 2024”

Dnipro National University named after Oles Honchar invites students from Ukrainian higher education institutions, innovative entrepreneurs, representatives of socially responsible businesses, and anyone interested in initiating their own eco-business, developing innovative projects, generating ideas in the field of promoting the “green” economy, and responsible consumption to participate in the “Dnipro creative startups 2024” competition for the development of startups in the “green” business sector, which will take place on January 23, 2024.
The competition is part of the Erasmus+ project “European Green Course as a Perspective for Sustainable Economic Development” under the Jean Monnet module.

On November 30th, the V Forum “Automation, Electronics, and Robotics: Development Strategies and Innovative Technologies” took place at the Department of MTS. Due to quarantine restrictions, the forum was held in a remote mode.
Speakers presented relevant and substantive works, many of which qualify as startups and can be implemented in production. The forum aims to discuss current issues in the application of innovations in the field of automation, electronics, and robotics; exchange experiences in implementing and using the Industry 5.0 concept for the needs of modern society; and establish ways of integrating science, education, and production to meet the goals of sustainable societal development.
Ukraine celebrates the Day of Dignity and Freedom

Today, on November 21st, our country celebrates the Day of Dignity and Freedom, a symbolic holiday that defines the modern stage of Ukraine’s history. On this day, Ukrainians commemorate the events of the Euromaidan in 2013-2014 when millions of people took to the streets, advocating for dignity, freedom, and European values.
Against the backdrop of the festive events, unrest in Ukraine continues as the country experiences a challenging military situation. Some regions remain areas of conflict, where efforts persist to ensure security and territorial integrity.

All-Ukrainian competition of scientific student papers on the topic of the Revolution of Dignity in honor of Serhiy Kemska, Hero of Ukraine, Hero of the Heavenly Hundred – historian, political scientist, journalist, and public activist. Initiated and conducted by the National Memorial Complex of the Heavenly Hundred Heroes – the Museum of the Revolution of Dignity, and the Public Organization ‘Family of the Heavenly Hundred Heroes,’ within the project ‘Sergiy Kemske Award.’

From November 13th to 16th, 2023, the IEEE Sixth International Conference on Information and Telecommunication Technologies and Radio Electronics (UkrMiCo) took place. Despite the challenging situation in the country, the conference was held at a high level.
The mission of the UkrMiCo conference series is to create an environment for research and practice, promote awareness of innovative trends, and showcase revolutionary technological achievements in the fields of information and telecommunication technologies, microwave engineering, and radio electronics.

The opportunity to master an IT specialty for veterans

The opportunity to acquire an IT specialization for veterans. Until November 10, 2023, applications are being accepted for participation in the training course “Requalification of veterans for municipal centers providing administrative services and IT roles through the network of competence centers.”
The training is free, and after completing the course, the best participants are offered internships and assistance in employment, including in Customer Service Centers (ЦНАП) and IT companies. Learning can be done online or offline at the Centers of Innovation and Competence “Cyber Action,” recently opened at leading universities in Kyiv, Dnipro, Lviv, and Kharkiv.
IT Technology Marathon 2023

IT Marathon is a special event format by ERAM University open to all individuals with basic knowledge and coding skills. Participants will have the opportunity to delve into the development of their own projects and, with the guidance of ERAM experts, go step by step from concept to a finished product.
The main goal of the IT Marathon is to introduce participants to the entire cycle of web application development in an online environment. Our experts will provide highly relevant and practical knowledge and skills that participants can not only learn theoretically but immediately apply in the development process.
