The opportunity to master an IT specialty for veterans

The opportunity to acquire an IT specialization for veterans. Until November 10, 2023, applications are being accepted for participation in the training course “Requalification of veterans for municipal centers providing administrative services and IT roles through the network of competence centers.”

The training is free, and after completing the course, the best participants are offered internships and assistance in employment, including in Customer Service Centers (ЦНАП) and IT companies. Learning can be done online or offline at the Centers of Innovation and Competence “Cyber Action,” recently opened at leading universities in Kyiv, Dnipro, Lviv, and Kharkiv.

“Together with four leading universities, we are launching the Centers of Innovation and Competence ‘Cyber Action.’ On November 1, they opened their doors to veterans, for whom, in addition to training, many other interesting and useful events will be organized with representatives of Customer Service Centers, IT companies, and more. Then comes internships and assistance with employment. Veterans return from war, and helping them is a shared responsibility for everyone. Advise your veteran acquaintances returning from war about this opportunity,” emphasizes Oleksandr Naida, project business partnership manager and co-founder of the NGO “Scientific Association of Cybersecurity of Ukraine.”

“Yes, the war is still ongoing. But already now, many soldiers are returning to civilian life. Being demobilized does not mean returning to normal life immediately. They still need to readjust, adapt, and find a job they enjoy. And our civic duty is to help our soldiers who risked their lives and sacrificed their health to return to normal life,” notes Andriy Pazyuk, coordinator of the Centers of Innovation and Competence ‘Cyber Action’ and head of the Public Association “Cyber Action Platform.”

The project is implemented by the NGO “Scientific Association of Cybersecurity of Ukraine” and is funded by the governments of Canada, Finland, Sweden, Switzerland, the United Kingdom, and the United States.
