Kharkiv National University of Radio Electronics (KhNURE) has entered the list of the world’s best universities according to the QS World University Rankings 2024. Despite the ongoing war and challenging conditions, Kharkiv National University of Radio Electronics has made it into the rankings for the second time, placing in the 1201-1400 group.

QS World University Rankings 2024 is one of the most renowned international academic rankings. It is compiled by the British consulting company Quacquarelli Symonds and was published on June 28.

On the occasion of Constitution Day of Ukraine, we wholeheartedly congratulate you on this significant celebration. The Constitution serves as the foundation of our legal order and guarantees our rights and freedoms. It defines the principles of democracy, the rule of law, and social justice.

On June 26th, graduate student Svyatoslav Starokozhev from the Department of MTS and associate professor Alexander Vorgul from the same department held a Zoom meeting with representatives from Hochschule Reutlingen to discuss future collaboration in scientific and exchange opportunities. They identified the need to select areas of cooperation and goals necessary for the development of joint projects.

In turn, Hochschule Reutlingen proposed the following possibilities:

Graduate student Sviatoslav Starokozhev from the Department of MTS has participated in the 4InnoPipe course. Throughout the course, participants gained valuable knowledge in the fundamentals of modern innovation activities in the EU and acquired skills in implementing scientific and technical projects based on European principles.

The course was developed under the guidance of Lyubomyr Matsekh, Ph.D., a leading lecturer at ESB Business School, University of Reutlingen, and an expert in the field of social entrepreneurship, leadership, networking, and social innovation. He conducts corporate training for global brands such as Daimler AG, Bosch Global, Panasonic Deutschland, and Infineon Technologies AG. The discipline had a strong practical focus, with participants working in teams on ideas starting from the study of social or environmental issues, identifying a problem that a specific innovation can solve, developing a value proposition and business model, and mastering the art of pitch presentation to potential investors. The course featured top lecturers and trainers from Germany, England, Spain, Ukraine, Greece, the USA, Switzerland, and Denmark.

On June 23, the 5th International Scientific-Practical Conference “Theoretical and Applied Aspects of Device Development on Microcontrollers and FPGAs” took place remotely via the Google Meet platform. The conference began with opening remarks from Irina Svyd, the Head of the Department of Microprocessor Technologies and Systems, and Sergiy Sakalo, the Dean of the Faculty of IRTZI at the University of Radio Electronics. Participants of the conference then presented their reports and discussed modern requirements for the development of devices based on microcontrollers and FPGAs. All presentations were informative and relevant to the conference’s theme. Prospective directions for the conference’s future development were discussed at the end of the event.
