Head of the MTS Department Svyd I On November 30, 2020, she took part in the online seminar “Publishing 101: Engineering Books”, which was held with the support of Springer.
The seminar is dedicated to the presentation of the Springer Engineering Book Publishing Program. The speakers also cited a portfolio of Springer books and described in detail the five steps to publishing a book with Springer.

On November 26, 2020, the 10th International Scientific and Methodological Conference “Higher Technical Education: Problems and Ways of Development” was held by video conference at the Belarusian State University of Informatics and Radioelectronics (BGUIR). The conference is held to exchange views on problems and ways to develop higher technical education and to make recommendations for its improvement. Particular attention is paid to such areas as “Network educational programs, export of educational services”, “Model University 3.0”, “Improving the quality of education”. Authors from five countries – Belarus, Kazakhstan, Russia, Uzbekistan and Ukraine – joined the discussion.

Organizers: Erasmus + National Office in Ukraine (EU project) together with Sumy State University with the participation of representatives of the National Team of Experts on Higher Education Reform of the EU Erasmus + Program and the National Agency for Quality Assurance in Higher Education.

The annual competition “Best Scientific, Scientific and Pedagogical Worker of KNURE-2020” was held on the Trust / Trust portal created under the international grant, the results of which were approved at the meeting of the Academic Council of the University of Radio Electronics.

Head of the Department of MTS NURE Irina Svyd took part in the international network event “The Role of Research and Innovation in the European Green Deal. Opportunities for Ukrainian Researchers ”, organized by the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine with the support of the European Commission.
The event aims to inform a wide range of scientists and researchers about the main principles of the European Green Deal and future competitions. In particular: prevention of climate change; clean, affordable and safe energy; industry for a clean and processing economy; energy and resource saving buildings; persistent and smart mobility; from field to table; biodiversity and ecosystems; no pollution, no toxic environments; empowering citizens; strengthening knowledge.

On October 19, 2020, the staff of the MTS Department took part in the all-Ukrainian online seminar “Google Digital Tools for Scientists”, because now digital services play a major role in the development of science. The introductory speech was given by the Deputy Minister of Education and Science of Ukraine Artur Seletsky and the Director for Cooperation with Public Authorities of Google Ukraine Oleh Yakimchuk. The seminar addressed the possibilities of advanced search of Google and Google Alerts, the use of Google Academy, and a wide range of tools for visualizing publicly available data for scientific work.
