KhNURE has made it to the list of the world’s best universities
Kharkiv National University of Radio Electronics (KhNURE) has entered the list of the world’s best universities according to the QS World University Rankings 2024. Despite the ongoing war and challenging conditions, Kharkiv National University of Radio Electronics has made it into the rankings for the second time, placing in the 1201-1400 group.
QS World University Rankings 2024 is one of the most renowned international academic rankings. It is compiled by the British consulting company Quacquarelli Symonds and was published on June 28.
In total, 11 Ukrainian higher education institutions have been included in the QS World University Rankings 2024.
Until 2023, universities were evaluated based on six indicators:
- Reputation in the academic community
- Citations of research publications by university representatives
- Faculty-to-student ratio
- Employer reputation towards graduates
- Proportion of international faculty
- Proportion of international students
In 2023, three new indicators were introduced:
- Employment outcomes
- International research network
- Sustainable development
The top three universities in the world are:
- Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) – USA
- University of Cambridge – United Kingdom
- University of Oxford – United Kingdom
