Teachers of the Department of MTS Head of the Department Assoc. Svyd I. and Assistant Zavorotnaya M. were trained in the course “Expert in Accreditation of Educational Programs: Online Education”, provided by the National Agency for Quality Assurance of Higher Education through the Prometheus platform of massive open online courses. They successfully passed testing, according to the results of which they received certificates.

The MTS department as part of the KNURE delegation at the PromEnergy2019 industrial exhibition presented the scientific and practical developments of students and teachers, as well as presented the educational programs of the IRTIS faculty.

September 20-21, 2019 The MTS team participated in the All-Ukrainian scout hackathon for Smart-City robotics in Vinnitsa. Among the 24 teams of students and students from all over Ukraine, the team of the MTS KNURE department consists of: Bilotserkivets Oleksii, Korhov Dmitry, Merkulov Konstantin, Rudenok Sergey.

On September 21, 2019, the MTS Department participated in the Regional event “Science Night”. A modern approach to the design of devices on microcontrollers and FPGAs was presented. And the development of the department is demonstrated.

In accordance with the selection procedure for specialists of the National Agency for the Quality Assurance of Higher Education, the assistant Zavorotna was chosen to accredit educational programs of the MTS department.

Candidates for experts will be invited to undergo training and testing as part of the training program developed by the National Agency for Higher Education Quality Assurance Secretariat. The training will consist of an online course and testing (tentatively in September) and full-time training with testing. Based on the results of testing and certification, the roster of experts of the National Agency will be approved, from which experts will be invited to conduct accreditation examinations of educational programs.

On September 21, 2019, from 16:00 to 22:00, the MTS department will open the doors for everyone in the framework of the “Night of science” project.

Guests of the event will learn about modern approaches to the design of devices on microcontrollers and FPGAs. A number of third-year students’ developments will also be presented under the guidance of faculty teachers.

On August 27, a meeting of the selection committee for the selection of members of sectoral expert councils No. 4 took place. According to the results of the competition, the head of the department of microprocessor technologies and systems Ph.D., Assoc.  I. Svyd  became a member of the Expert Council of the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine in the field of knowledge 17 “Electronics and Telecommunications”.

On July 7, 2019, teachers of the MTS Department attended the event organized by GlobalLogic Embedded Conference 2019 in Kharkiv. Visitors were offered speeches, practical advice from expert practitioners and practical developments.

Representatives of the MTS Department took part in the IEEE 2nd Ukrainian Conference on Electrical Engineering and Computing UKRCON-2019, held at the Ivan Franko National University of Lviv.

The Department of MTS in the framework of cooperation with the company Global Logic Ukraine received 15 sets of Embedded Starter Kit. They will be used in the “Embedded Systems Design” laboratory, where students and teachers will be able to understand the design and development of embedded systems, as well as gain practical experience with embedded technologies.

Representatives of the Department of MTS took part in the 3rd International IEEE Conference on Advanced Information and Communication Technologies (AICT) – 2019, held at the Lviv Polytechnic National University. As part of the discussion, the reports presented by the organizing committee are among the best.

On June 27, the staff of the MTS department together with the professor of the Higher Engineering School ENSIL-ENSCI of the University of Limoges (France) Vahid Meghdadi visited Science Park Synergy. The guests examined modern laboratories in which teachers and students of the university can put their ideas into practice, conduct and attend courses, seminars, hackathons.
