We are launching a new series of webinars for those who want to learn more about the role of the digital society in today’s world and its place in it!

Over the course of several events, we will talk to you about the digital transformation and the changes in society and the organizations it causes, the challenges of urban planning, the future of the digital society – total control against egalitarian society and government reform and some businesses. .

At our new webinar for teachers, we will focus on project-based learning, namely the experience of creating joint projects by students under the guidance of IT company mentors.

Our speaker Vladislav Matus will talk about such a format as student research projects. What is the purpose and benefits of such cooperation? We will go through all the stages that made up the whole process from the initial selection to the finished solution on the example of the student project “GreenWave”, and at the end we will show how this process can be improved in the future and possibly integrated into university programs.

This webinar was created specifically for teachers, in which classical marketing theories are adapted to modern realities and the needs of teachers in creating performances, courses, hackathons and their effective promotion. Employees of the department participated in webinars dedicated to work in Scopus and Mendeley: Introduction to Scopus; Search for information in Scopus; Author profile in Scopus; Scopus bibliometric instruments; Mendeley is a bibliographic manager in the work of a researcher.

The webinars focused on issues such as: overview and basic information of the Scopus bibliographic database, relevant information in Scopus, which sources are indexed in Scopus, journal metrics in Scopus, how to use journal metrics, author profiles in Scopus and profile work, work in Mendeley to create and organize bibliographies, collaborate in Mendeley with other researchers and much more.
