On the third Saturday of May, Ukraine celebrates the professional holiday of scientists – Science Day, which unites all scientists in the scientific community.
In 2022, the Day of Science in Ukraine falls on May 21.
The holiday was established by the Decree of the President of Ukraine “On Science Day” of 14.02.1997 № 145/97 “… in support of the initiative of famous scientists, research institutions and trade unions of Ukraine…”

Proceedings of the IEEE International Conference Problems of Infocommunications. Science and Technology PIC S&T, held in 2021, is published in the IEEE Xplore digital library.
The conference was held in early October 2021. Scientists and staff of the department take an active part in the conference every year. In 2021, 5 reports were presented:

Synergy Educational IT Conference. IT Business & IT Education: New Horizons is back! The largest profile conference in Ukraine, launched by the Association in 2014, brings together on a single platform all national stakeholders in the field of IT education to share experiences, create favorable conditions for industry development and identify its priority vectors.

On May 20, 2022, an online event dedicated to Science Day will be held, during which participants will discuss the problems of modern science during martial law and the impact of support from the international community.

The event will be attended by the Minister of Education and Science Serhiy Shkarleta, representatives of the Ministry of Education and Science, the National Academy of Sciences, the National Research Foundation of Ukraine and leading scientists.

Employees, students and graduate students of the MTS Department took part in the third International Scientific and Practical Conference “Aviation, Industry, Society”. Which was held on the basis of Kremenchug Flight College of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs in correspondence and distance form.
Participants presented reports on current trends and prospects for industry, electronics, energy, in today’s conditions.
