Participation in the webinar “The System of Academic Integrity at Thomson Rivers University”

As part of KNURE’s participation in the Academic Integrity and Education Quality Initiative (Academic IQ) Project, Head of the MTS Department Iryna Svyd took part in the webinar “The System of Academic Integrity at Thomson Rivers University” on October 20, 2021.At the webinar, Marian Anderberg and Krista Lussier will share their experiences in building an academic integrity system at Thomson Rivers University in Kamloops, Canada. The webinar covered the practices of conducting a campaign to combat contract work on the university campus, as well as how the Office of Student Affairs works. The speakers also spoke about academic integrity orientation practices for teachers just starting out at Thomson Rivers University.

About the speakers:
Marian Enderber, Director of the Office of Student Affairs at Thomson Rivers University. Prior to joining the Office of Student Affairs, Marian worked at the University’s School of Social and Humanitarian Affairs and has practical experience as a social worker.
Christa Lucie, Research Fellow at Thomson Rivers University. Christa teaches science in maternal and child health. Her research interests include working with teachers who are just starting out at the university, teaching and learning skills, and teaching with modern technology.
