Participation in the webinar “Spartans of science: the intervention of academic integrity”

Within the framework of KNURE’s participation in the Academic Integrity and Education Quality Initiative (Academic IQ) Project, the head of the MTS department Svyd IV On September 27, 2021 she took part in the webinar “Spartans of Science: Intervention of Academic Integrity”
The event presented the experience of Michigan State University and Temple Univerisity in creating unique models of the system of academic integrity and evaluation, as well as proposals for the implementation of certain elements of these systems for other universities. Emphasis is also placed on the practical development of academic integrity courses for students and on the aspects that are best included in the content of such courses.
About speakers:
Jake Casper, Academic Integrity Specialist at the Michigan State University Dean’s Office. Jake is responsible for the use
strategic measures in cases involving students caught in violation of the principles of academic integrity at the university.
Brandon Arnold, New Student Program Coordinator at Temple University’s Office of New Student and Family Programs. Brandon’s main mission is to support each student on their path to education at Temple University and during the academic decision-making process.
