Participation in the online conference «Europe. Horizon of Opportunities»
Representatives of the MTS Department on April 16, 2021 took part in the online conference “Europe. Horizon of Opportunities”, which took place in Poland. The organizers are the National Center for Research and Development; National Contact Point for PR Horyzont Europe; Polish business and scientific community in Brussels; Ministry of Education and Science of Poland; Ministry of Development, Labor and Technology of Poland with the support of the European Union.
The conference was opened by: Dr Jarosław Gowin – Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Development, Labor and Technology, Mariya Gabriel – EU Commissioner for Innovation, Research, Culture, Education and Youth, Dr hab. Przemysław Czarnek – Minister of Education and Science of Poland, Dr inż. Wojciech Kamieniecki is the director of the National Research and Development Center in Poland.
The conference presented the structures of the Horizon Europe program – new elements within the EU Framework Program for Research and Innovation. Opportunities and challenges in the Horizon Europe program from the point of view of Polish beneficiaries are discussed. The following areas were discussed at the thematic discussion sessions: European Innovation Council / European Innovation Ecosystems; clusters and missions; expansion and synergy; new European partnerships. The conference outlined new opportunities for innovative development and collaboration in the direction of strengthening and developing the Polish ecosystem.
