Reunion Day!

Today Ukrainians celebrate a new holiday – Reunion Day!

The State Flag of Ukraine was raised on the buildings of all settlements, and at 10.00 the National Anthem was performed. So let’s find out why it was started.

Presidential Decree № 53/2022 of 14 February 2022 states that Reunification Day has been declared to “strengthen the consolidation” of Ukrainians, strengthen their “resilience” against the background of growing hybrid threats, propaganda and moral and psychological pressure on the public consciousness. Given the general tension in society now, the new holiday is designed to unite Ukrainians.
