Participation in the presentation of the Toolkit for the study of academic integrity and quality of education in higher education institutions
On September 23, 2022, the head of the MTS department, Iryna Svyd, as part of the participation of KhNURE in the project “Initiative of academic integrity and quality of education – Academic IQ”, took part in a seminar dedicated to the presentation of the Toolkit for internal analysis of higher education institutions.
The American Councils for International Education, within the framework of the implementation of the project “Initiative of academic integrity and quality of education – Academic IQ”, presented the Toolkit for the study of academic integrity and quality of education in higher education institutions.
The Toolkit includes:
– self-assessment questionnaire of higher education institutions,
– questionnaires for students and teachers with accompanying instructions for them
using,
– instructions for organizing and conducting focus group discussions,
– traffic light matrix,
– advice on writing a report based on the results of the research.
The toolkit makes it possible to carry out a comprehensive internal institutional analysis, identify strengths in the work of higher education institutions, as well as areas that need to be strengthened.
The toolkit has shown its effectiveness among 60 universities participating in the Academic IQ project and has been tested for free use in all higher education institutions of Ukraine.
KhNURE is a participant of the Academic IQ project, so we had the opportunity to test the toolkit in practice. We thank the Academic IQ team for the useful and interesting experience of participating in the project.
