National Girls’ Day in Technology 2021
On October 11, the STEM Girls Branch, established at the MTS Department, joined the celebration of the National Girls’ Day in Technology 2021.
The girls from the Branch attended the online conference of the Poltava Branch, and had the opportunity to learn about the world of “technology” from the inside!
The speaker from the Kharkiv company SoftServe acquainted with the peculiarities of their activities and told how girls and women can build their careers in technology.The final online conference took place in the afternoon for everyone! The participants of the event were expected to:
– acquaintance with inspiring and successful women from top technological companies and state and international institutions;
– secrets of success and valuable advice on development and work in the field of technology;
– cool gifts for the most active participants;
– quizzes, fascinating stories and discussions and, of course, unforgettable impressions!
Such meetings are inspiring. The activities of the #GirlsSTEM Branches, which is part of the “Springboard for Equality” project with the financial support of the Government of Sweden, contribute to the development of the CSB of the University.
