Invite to Participate in National Girls in Technology Day
On October 11, 2023, the “Girls in STEM” initiative of the Center for Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR Ukraine) will host the “National Girls in Technology Day.”
Event Objectives:
- Raise awareness of the vital role of STEM professions in Ukraine’s development and encourage girls to engage in these fields.
- Inspire young people with successful stories of women in STEM, showcasing the advantages of building a career in technology and stimulating girls’ interest in STEM education and careers.
- Provide girls with the opportunity to personally experience solving practical problems and demonstrate how technology companies operate.
- Inform about the prospects of the tech industry in the context of Ukraine’s development.
The event’s program comprises both online and offline activities:
- Excursions to companies representing high-tech industries, agribusiness, pharmaceuticals, etc., in 10 regions of Ukraine.
- Meetings with inspiring and successful women from top technology companies and representatives of government agencies.
- Workshops and masterclasses by leading experts.
- Presentations and performances by graduates of “Girls in STEM” branches.
- Panel discussions on current issues.
- A roundtable discussion involving educators, media professionals, representatives of leading companies, and more.
- Valuable gifts for the most active participants.
