Employees of the MTS Department took part in the IEEE Young Scientist School

On August 27, 2021, the staff of the MTS Department took part in the IEEE Young Scientist School. The School of Young Scientists includes lectures by world-class experts in electromagnetic compatibility and signal processing.

This year the school presented a lecture by Professor Victor Jigan “Fundamentals of Adaptive Signal Processing”. The lecture considered some mathematical discoveries that preceded the advent of adaptive signal processing. Adaptive filter structures and examples of adaptive filter applications are also presented. The mathematical methods used in adaptive signal processing are specified. The main types of adaptive filtering algorithms are listed. Features of nonstationary signal processing were discussed. Further ways of development of the theory of adaptive signal processing and its applications are marked.
