A master’s student from the department participated in a training session conducted by Tech StartUp School.

From October 9 to December 1, 2023, Sviatoslav Starokozhev, a master’s student from the MTS department, successfully completed the training course “Startup Development Technologies and Youth Entrepreneurship Launch” offered by Tech StartUp School. The course was conducted as part of the USAID project “Economic Support for Ukraine.”

The aim of the course is to promote the development of entrepreneurial potential among young people, prepare them for a successful career in the startup and entrepreneurship field, and stimulate innovative thinking and economic growth.

Topics covered in the course include:

  1. Introduction to the course. Presentation of the startup competition.
  2. Modern trends in startups worldwide.
  3. Methods of generating ideas and validating them for success.
  4. Consumer values and how to create a blue ocean.
  5. Types of entrepreneurship (social, innovative, scalable startup entrepreneurship). Licensed and unlicensed activities. Basics of intellectual property law.
  6. Basics of accounting, reporting, and tax regulation of entrepreneurship, registration of individual entrepreneurs, digital tools, EDS, banking system.
  7. Digital entrepreneurship ecosystem.
  8. Business planning for startups.
  9. Marketing when entering the market with a startup.
  10. Social media as a tool for startup development.
  11. Modern fundraising methods.
  12. Business models.
  13. Prototyping and scaling of startups.
  14. Presentation of a startup to investors and entering the market.
  15. Gender equality in the professional sphere.
