Webinar of the MTS department within the framework of ErasmusDays 2020

As part of #ErasmusDays #ErasmusUA 2020, the MTS KNURE department hosted a webinar “Implementation of European practices in the formation of technical courses on the design of devices on microcontrollers and FPGA” with a live broadcast on the MTS department’s Facebook page.

At the invitation of the event Anna Zavolodko, Associate Professor of NTU KhPI, made a presentation on “Framework structure of digital competencies for Ukrainian teachers and other citizens” project “dComFra – Digital Competence System for Ukrainian teachers and other citizens / dComFra” (No. 598236-EPP-1 -2018-1-LT-EPPKA2-CBHE-SP) This topic clearly shows the directions of development of digital competencies and competencies needed in the rapidly changing modern conditions of society. This project is also interesting because it covers issues related to the development of the department MTS in the direction of creating a remote laboratory.
The staff of the department presented the integration of the best European practices of partner universities in the development and formation of the educational process in technical disciplines. In particular, in the discipline “Design of devices on microcontrollers and FPGA”. The work of the online laboratory of the MTS department is presented on the example of programming the STM32 microcontroller.
Rapid changes in society require an appropriate response in the learning process. Training requests have changed, and teaching methods and access to laboratories have changed accordingly. The proposed approach to laboratory work on models for designing devices on microcontrollers allows students to acquire skills in working with hardware and software and provides digital competencies for remote work with hardware and software. The presented developments are only a part of a complex problem, which is solved in the process of forming a new vision of teaching.
Thank you to all participants of the event for an interesting and constructive dialogue! Until next time!
