Scientific achievements are an indicator of the development of society and humanity as a whole. Scientific progress is an integral part of our lives, and it is difficult to imagine life without them.
The professional holiday of scientists is celebrated in Ukraine on the third Saturday of May. The holiday was introduced in Ukraine “… in support of the initiative of famous scientists, scientific institutions and trade unions of Ukraine …” in accordance with the Decree of the President of Ukraine “On Science Day” of February 14, 1997 № 145/97.
